Digital Radiography

Chino Valley Animal Hospital has incorporated digital radiology into our diagnostic capabilities leading to more immediate treatment and giving our doctors the chance to share patient information in a much more time-efficient manner. Your pet’s images can be sent digitally to a specialist eliminating postal delay and allowing them to review your case in detail before your visit.
 
Digital x-rays provide quicker, clearer and faster images than film x-ray.  A digital x-ray of your pet's injury or area of concern is taken and developed in four seconds, eliminating the need to wait for the x-rays to develop. Digital x-rays also help provide a better diagnosis for your pet. Like a digital photo, a radiograph can be manipulated after it is taken allowing our team to view the image in ways that weren't possible with film x-ray.

Digital Dental Radiography
Our very impressive dental suite fully equipped with the top of the line digital dental x-ray unit. With every dental procedure we take full mouth x-rays to determine the health of the pets teeth and roots. Many problems can exist in the roots of teeth and may go unnoticed without the benefit of these dental x-rays.

Radio Surgery
This is a safe, straightfoward and highly effective surgical instrument used to make skin incisions, to dissect tumors, eye surgery etc. It minimizes tissue damage and controls bleeding.

        

Video Otoscope
Allows the doctors and clients to view findings during otoscopic, dental, rhinoscopic and dermatological exams. This device offers better diagnostic capabilities due to its magnification and illumination.
