Michael Kahan, DVM
I was born in the Town of Tonawanda, a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I attended Michigan State University and graduated with an Animal Science Degree prior to obtaining my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating, I practiced at the same hospital in Farmington Hills, MI for 12 years. In 2004, I purchased Chino Valley Animal Hospital. The hospital soon outgrew the existing facility and in 2008 we moved into our state of the art facility. I have 2 English Bulldogs (Thor and Abby). My family lives here in Chino and we are active in supporting community events and youth sports.

I graduated Veterinary School in 1986 from Oregon State University. I grew in up in a logging/ranching family in western Oregon. I relocated to Homer Alaska to practice Veterinary medicine. I loved taking pack trips and camping with my horses there. In 2005 I went to Wickenburg, AZ where I spent the winter months training dressage and endurance horses and then went back to Alaska in the Spring, I did this for 7 years before moving solely to Prescott! I enjoy working at CVAH and spend nearly all of my free time outside in my garden and with my horses.
Estevan Fernandez, DVM
I was born in Texas and raised in a small farming community in Oregon. I graduated from Oregon State University and I am the 10th Veterinarian in my family. I have been practicing medicine in the tri-city area for 18 years. My passion is to enhance the human-animal bond and I feel I can relate to people from all walks of life. I enjoy doing orthopedic surgical procedures and physical therapy options such as our hydrotherapy treadmill, acupuncture and laser.
Cora Zenko, DVM
I was born and raised on a small farm in Connecticut with every farm animal on it. I completed my undergraduate degree at University of Connecticut and majored in Animal Science. I went on to complete veterinary school at Midwestern University. As I’ve always said, “since I grew up with it all, I love it all.” That hasn’t changed since completing vet school, I truly love all animals. My special interests are surgery and international travel to work with wildlife. I never thought I’d end up taking a job in Arizona but being an avid hiker, I’ve fallen in love with the mountains here. I currently have a Swedish Vallhund, Cowboy Corgi, German Shorthair Pointer, and a Brittany that share in my adventures whenever possible. I’m looking forward to becoming part of the family at Chino Valley Animal Hospital.
